PLEASE ATTEND the School Board Meeting AT CITY HALL in Manchester on August 11th at 7:00 PM
The Manchester School Board will decide on Monday, August 11 whether to adopt the “Manchester Academic Standards” which are little more than a repackaged Common Core.
We need to get as many people as possible out to pack the school board meeting. Many members of the school board are using the excuse that not enough people are willing to come out against Common Core-Lite, just because they scheduled the acceptance of these standards during the peak of summer vacation.
It’s a sneaky maneuver, and we want to let everyone know about it. Flyers will go out to homes throughout the city between Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 10, letting people know what is being done to Manchester kids with their tax dollars.
Common Core is to education what Obamacare is to health care: expensive, bureaucratic, and beyond individual control. Let’s stop it in Manchester before it takes hold in New Hampshire.
Below is a list of lit drops for Manchester. We’ll be pooling resources with other campaigns who have graciously agreed to help get the word out on the attempted Common Core “Lite” adoption in Manchester.
