Keep in mind the described &#8220;states building of matching and interoperable State Longitudinal Database Systems or 50 linkable, twinlike State Longitudinal Database Systems (SLDS)&#8221;.<br \/>\n<a href=\" http:\/\/whatiscommoncore.wordpress.com\/\"><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/whatiscommoncore.wordpress.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These websites shows that the state of NH does have a Longitudinal Database System (SLDS):<br \/>\n<a href=\" http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/instruction\/accountability\/data-sys.htm\"><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/instruction\/accountability\/data-sys.htm<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/index.htm\">http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/index.htm<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/pplus.htm\">http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/pplus.htm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This PDF file shows all of the data collecting &#8220;tools for making use of data&#8221; that the DOE has.  Especially notice the last box &#8220;And More&#8230;&#8221; on how they share data:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/documents\/tools.pdf\">http:\/\/www.education.nh.gov\/data\/documents\/tools.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also use data in other ways&#8230;<br \/>\n&#8211; Sharing data with Researchers<br \/>\n&#8211; Providing Reports to Legislators<br \/>\n&#8211; Working with Other States (New England Secondary<br \/>\nSchool Consortium)<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s NH&#8217;s grant application for the SLDS grant:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nces.ed.gov\/programs\/slds\/state.asp?stateabbr=NH\">https:\/\/nces.ed.gov\/programs\/slds\/state.asp?stateabbr=NH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This will show where NH is in securing state educational data &#8211; click on State Action 8 in particular:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dataqualitycampaign.org\/your-states-progress\/\">http:\/\/www.dataqualitycampaign.org\/your-states-progress\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>NH is already part of the New England Secondary School Consortium and has been sharing data with 4 other New England States (ME, RI, CT, VT).  NH is highly prized by the national initiative for a national education system and data collection since they have already started a database sharing information with these other states; they bragged about this in their grant applications.  I believe this is why, when you look at the http:\/\/www.dataqualitycampaign.org\/your-states-progress\/ website, NH has achieved so many of its State Actions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/newenglandssc.org\/resources\/data\">http:\/\/newenglandssc.org\/resources\/data<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notice in reading this link that:<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;A comprehensive \u201ccollege-readiness index\u201d that takes into account academic, socioeconomic, and behavioral data is currently under development.&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First take a look at this website.
