So why does Raffio object?<\/strong><br \/>\nEDITORIAL from the NH UNION LEADER<\/p>\n<p><em>A proposed state law making the Common Core school curriculum optional for each school district is unnecessary, claims state Education Board chairman Tom Raffio. Because, he says, the state isn&#8217;t requiring it now.<\/p>\n<p>Really?<\/p>\n<p>Then why does Manchester, for one example, complain regularly about being threatened with the loss of federal funding if it doesn&#8217;t abide by a testing program that is very much tied to Common Core?
